Have you ever heard of “観光公害” or “over tourism”?

Osaka had 1,1114,000 tourists in 2017 and is expecting more people to come until Osaka Expo in 2025.

Recently, over tourism becoming our social problem as we have frictions between t tourists espacially bad manners in public.

If this lasts longer, Japanese people may restrict tourists,
increase negative feelings to particular countries.

Osaka team tackle this problem by designing interactive manner book and website etc.

Yes, we already have millions of manner books and websites which only tell “do this ” or ”don’t do this” with no specific reasons.

Does this help people to understand our culture deeply?

No, it wouldn’t.

Our goal is helping both Japanese and oversea people to understand each culture deeply together,

because it helps our future problems like super-aging society,
immigrants and sense of diversity. It all relates.

So in this project, we will involve not only visitors and sufferers of bad manners but also children, adults, seniors and oversea students.
